According to the Orville Redenbacher website, its microwave popcorn is 100 percent whole grain and has no trans fats. Several of the popcorn flavors are available in mini bags -- single-serve, 1.2 oz bags.

SmartPop! Mini Bags

The Orville Redenbacher SmartPop! line of microwave popcorn is 94 percent fat free. The SmartPop! Butter and Kettle Korn varieties are both available in mini bags. Each bag has 100 calories, 2 g. of fat, 24 g. of carbohydrates, 4 g. of fiber and 3 g. of protein.

Regular Mini Bags

In the regular microwave popcorn product line from Orville Redenbacher, the Butter and the Movie Theater Butter are available in mini bags. The Butter variety contains 160 calories, 14 g. of fat, 21 g. of carbohydrates and 3 g. of protein in one bag. The Movie Theater flavor has slightly more calories. One bag contains 170 calories, 12 g. of fat, 6 g. of saturated fat, 19 g. of carbohydrates, 4 g. of fiber and 2 g. of protein.

Effects

Choosing a mini bag of Orville Redenbacher popcorn over a regular bag may help you consume less calories. The regular bags are almost three times the size of a mini bag. If you don't watch how much you eat, you could easily consume 2 to 3 times the calories of a mini bag.
