In the $15 million lawsuit, the former star of ’90s hit TV series “Beverly Hills, 90210” blamed accounting firm Tanner Mainstain Glynn & Johnson and a former partner for allowing her health insurance to lapse, preventing early detection of her breast cancer. The settlement amount is unknown.

The site also reported that Doherty was later spotted at Nobu in Malibu.

Doherty posted a beachside photo to Instagram that evening with the message: “Love girls night with @annemkortright helping me celebrate feeling good enough to eat before Wednesday’s chemo. #bff #fightlikeagirl #cancersucks #warrior.”

Over the weekend she shared a sweet story about customers at Cheesecake Factory picking up her bill: “Today I was able to get out and attempt to eat and hang with my mom. We decided on The Cheesecake Factory because of their vast menu. I figured I could find something to eat that wouldn’t make me sick. Success. I asked for my bill and the above note was placed in front of me instead. No names attached, just the note...

They didn’t care about a thank-you for picking up my bill. They simply wanted to do something nice. I convinced the waitress to nod to who did it. Rian and Lloyd.... I wish there were more people like you. Your kindness blew me away today. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You both deserve a very blessed life. #luckygirl #peoplecanbewonderful.”

The generous duo’s note said, “Thank you for your bravery + your openess. God bless you + your family.”
