In a one-parent family, it can be difficult to balance work with raising a child. Single parents who dream of pursuing a college degree are often prevented from doing so by financial obstacles. Fortunately, there are a number of scholarship and grant programs designed to make a college education more affordable and attainable. Single fathers can take advantage of these funding opportunities to pursue their first degree, continue their education or change careers.
