Blending kiwi into your morning smoothie gives you a burst of vitamins, as well as a splash of color. Blended kiwi adds a flavor that is close to a combination of banana, pineapple and strawberry. Kiwi contain vitamins A and E, more than 1 1/2 times your recommended daily allowance of vitamin C and as much potassium as a banana. The oil in the tiny black seeds is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which supports heart health.

Wash and peel the kiwi, and cut it into large chunks with a sharp paring knife.
Place the kiwi chunks into the blender and put on the lid. Make sure it is secure.
Blend the kiwi fruit on high for five to seven seconds.
Scrape the blended kiwi away from the sides of the blender with a rubber scraper. Add a spoonful or two of juice if the kiwi seems too dry. Apple and pear juice complement kiwi best, but don't be afraid to experiment with more exotic juices like guava or pineapple-coconut. Blend for another 10 to 20 seconds, or until the kiwi is smooth and free of lumps.
