The most effective way to manage your weight is to achieve calorie balance. Balance calories in with calories out by watching what you eat, and you’ll maintain your current figure. But you have a sweet tooth, you say. Fat-free, sugar-free frozen yogurt can curb your cravings without registering on the scale.

Froyo Facts

A 1/2-cup serving of frozen yogurt made with nonfat milk and low-calorie sweetener will set you back a mere 71 calories, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Nutrient Database. What’s more, it’s a decent source of the minerals calcium and potassium. Not all froyo is created equal, though. Check the label or the nutrition facts at your local yogurt shop to make sure you’re getting a low-calorie, fat-free frozen treat.
