Sammy's Woodfired Pizza is a casual-dining chain, with locations in California and Nevada, that specializes in pizza but also serves a variety of other menu items, including soups and salads. Although the meals at Sammy's Woodfired Pizza vary in nutritional value, many are high in fat, such as the pizzas, as they contain cheese.

Salads

Although Sammy's Woodfired Pizza is known for pizza, it offers other items, such as salad. The restaurant's salads can be high in calories, with high fat and protein content. Sammy's chopped chicken salad contains 425 calories, with 11 g of fat but 52 g of protein, which would comprise your entire daily protein needs, according to Medline Plus. Sammy's Chinese chicken salad contains 450 calories, which is 22.5 percent of the daily recommended intake, and is higher in fat, with 12 g, but lower in protein, with 40 g. The Chinese chicken salad is higher in carbohydrates, with 47 g, than the chopped chicken salad, which offers 30 g, or about half of your suggested daily protein intake, which Medline Plus explains should be between 50 and 65 g.

Soup

Although salad may have a reputation as being diet-friendly, the soup at Sammy's Woodfired Pizza is the lower-calorie item. Sammy's Woodfired Pizza offers tomato basil soup, which contains just 110 calories, with 5 g of fat, 10 g of carbohydrates and 7 g of protein. This soup provides 5.5 percent of the daily recommended intake of 2,000 calories and about 8 percent of the American Heart Association's suggested daily fat intake of 50 to 70 g.

Lunch Items

Sammy's Woodfired Pizza offers several modestly sized meals that could be consumed for lunch or a light dinner. The restaurant offers a meal of four steak skewers, which contain 220 calories, 8 g of fat, 12 g of carbohydrates and 24 g of protein in total. In addition, Sammy's Woodfired Pizza offers a roast chicken pesto wrap, which contains 480 calories, with 20 g of fat, 52 g of protein and 22 g of carbohydrates. The steak skewer meal provides 11 percent of your daily calorie needs and nearly half of your daily protein, while the roast chicken pesto wrap contains 24 percent of the recommended daily calorie allowance and an entire day's worth of protein.

Pizza

The pizzas at Sammy's Woodfired Pizza tend to be nontraditional, containing ingredient blends rather than standard cheese and pepperoni. However, the high number of ingredients can make the calorie count quite high. A three-slice serving, or half, of the restaurant's Thai chicken pizza contains 548 calories -- 27.4 percent of the daily recommended intake -- along with 20 g of fat, 56 g of carbohydrates and 36 g of protein. The vegetarian pizza is even higher in calories, with 885 calories -- 44.3 percent of the daily recommended intake -- along with 21 g of fat, 130 g of carbohydrates and 38 g of protein in a three-slice serving. These pizzas contain about 1/3 of the daily suggested fat intake and half of the daily suggested protein intake. The Food and Nutrition Board at the National Academies suggests consuming at least 130 g of carbohydrates daily, so the vegetarian pizza provides the minimum daily recommended carbohydrate intake, while the Thai Chicken pizza contains 43 percent of that amount.
